The Stamp Crew Review: Summer Silhouettes

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/
So happy to be back in The Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop line up this week.  Love hopping along with this group.  Today, we are featuring the Summer Silhouettes stamp set.  You are in for a real treat as each of the stops shows new and traditional ways to use this fun stamp set.  I have one of each to share with you today as well:

First a more traditional use of this stamp set:
Colors: Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White and Coral Calypso.  Stamps: Summer Silhouettes and Banner Banter.  Big Shot: Hamburger Box XL Bigz Die.  Punches: Little Labels Punch Pack and Petite Curly Label Punch.  Accessories: Coral Calypso Seam Binding Ribbon and Rhinestone Jewels.
This was the first time I actually used this new die.  It's a lot of fun.  And the long stamp from Summer Silhouettes is perfect for stamping a border around the edge of the box top.

Now for something a little less traditional:
Colors: Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black and Wild Wasabi.  Stamps: Sweet Stuff, Summer Silhouettes, Something to Say and What's Up?  Big Shot: Deco Labels and Oval Framelits, Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Punch: 2-1/2 Circle and Pennant Punch.  Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers, Blendabilites, Candy Dots. 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.
I need to give all the credit for this card to my friend Erin who was visiting me last week from BC.  I told her I needed an "out of the box" idea for this card and she immediately thought of using that stamp as a witch's broom and putting the little ballerina from Sweet Stuff, colored to look like a witch, riding on top of it.  She's brilliant, huh?

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Be sure to leave a little blog love in the comment section or pin something to Pinterest if you are so moved.  Now you are off to all the other great stops on the hop.  Use the buttons or list below to navigate your way around.

Awesome projects, Paula! I love the border around you box. Who would have thought of a broom? Adorable with that ballerina!

The ballerina on the broom is so clever! Makes me want to take another look at more of my stamp sets and see what I can come up with.
