The Stamp Review Crew: Mosaic Madness
Welcome back for another The Stamp Review Crew blog hop. This time we are featuring Mosaic Madness.  Love all the projects this group puts together for these hops.  I will confess that I have a hard time with this stamp set.  I feel like all the projects I make with it end up looking the same.  So I am just as anxious as you are to see what new and different ways people came up with to use this set.

My first project is not very original.  I like to think I used these stamps in a slightly different way than others have in the past, but not sure I really did.  I kept it very simple and relied on the Stamp-A-Majig heavily to create a border for this card with two of the stamps:

Colors: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo.  Stamps: Mosaic Madness and Chalk Talk.  Punches: Artisan Label and XL Oval.  Accessories: Stamp-A-Majig and Rhinestones.
And I will admit I cheated on this second project.  It was actually a project my club made last year when this stamp set first came out.  But I never did get around to sharing it on my blog back then so I get to share it with you today.  Here I used one of the border stamps from Mosaic Madness to decorate one of our Kraft Gift Boxes.  Notice I even stamped it on the ribbon:

Colors: Kraft, Soft Suede, Baked Brown Sugar and Naturals Ivory.  Stamps: Mosaic Madness and Label Love.  Big Shot: Labels Collection Framelits.  Punch: Artisan Label and Word Window.  Accessories: Kraft Gift Box, 7/8" Cotton Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today for my take on Mosaic Madness.  If you like my projects, please feel free to leave a little blog love in the comment section below or share them on Pinterest. Now you are off to see all the other fabulous creations with this set.  Use the buttons below to navigate forward or backward or click the banner at the top of the page for a complete list of blog hop participants.

Stampin' Addicts Fall Holiday Blog Hop: Freaky Friends
Welcome to the 2014 Fall Holiday Blog Hop, brought to you by the Stampin' Addicts!  I just love fall and everything that comes with it so I am loving all the projects that all the Addicts came up with for this hop from the Holiday Catalog.  If you are hopping in order, than you've landed here from Tanya's Tinkerin' in Ink Blog.  I just love her style!  If this is your first stop on the hop, we are all linked together in circle so you won't miss a thing.

I'm showcasing the Freaky Friends stamp set, perfect for Halloween which is just two months away and will be here before we know it.  First up, a simple card that pairs the cute monsters from this set with a greeting from another set from the Holiday Catalog: Mingle All The Way.
Colors: Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Whisper White and Basic Black. Stamps: Freaky Friends and Mingle All the Way.  Accessories: Blackberry Bliss Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Next up, a stepped up card inspired by a swap I received at convention from my good friend Missi Roeber. I knew I wanted to use this set to case her card.  I paired it with Good Greetings which is a special perk you can get for hosting a qualifying party from now until October 31.  Here is the card closed:

And here it is all opened up:
Colors: Basic Black, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana.  Stamps: Freaky Friends and Good Greetings. Punches: 2-1/2" and 2" circle and 2-3/8" scallop circle and word window.  Accessories: Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper, and Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.
And last but not least, a treat box featuring the new Gift Box Punch Board:

Colors: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Basic Black, and Crushed Curry.  Stamps: Freaky Friends and Good Greetings.  Punches: Angled Tag Topper.  Accessories: Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper, White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim, Gift Box Punch Board.
I hope you've enjoyed this look at Freaky Friends.  If you have, please leave a little blog love below, or go ahead and pin them to your Pinterest boards. Now you are off to the next stop: Twila's Stamp A Little Longer Blog and her fabulous take on the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper.

The Stamp Review Crew: Daydream Medallions
Welcome back for another edition of The Stamp Review Crew.  This time we are featuring the Daydream Medallions stamp set. Love what everyone has shown us so far!  This is a great set because it has matching framelits.  And this month, you can buy them bundled together for an extra 15% off!

I have two cards to share with you today.  The first is a Christmas Card.  I know it looks more like Gumball Green than Meadow Morning, but I promise, it is Meadow Morning:
Colors: Meadow Morning, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake. Stamps: Hardwood Background, Daydream Medallions.  Big Shot: Circle Framelits.  Punches: 2" circle, Word Window, and Modern Label.  Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Vintage Lace Trim, Pearl Jewels, Blendabilities.
For this card, I used one of the medium circle stamps, stamped it once on the paper, then rotated it just a titch (using my Stamp-A-Majig to line it up perfectly) and stamped it again.  I colored some of the smallest pearls with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilites and added them to look like berries.

And the second card features a window:

Colors: Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, Smoky Slate, and Pear Pizzazz.  Stamps: Daydream Medallions and Something to Say.  Big Shot: Floral Frames Framelits Collection.  Accessories: Smoky Slate Button, Window Sheet.
This one sort of just came together.  Once I got the largest of these medallions on the paper, I noticed that one of the matching framelits fit perfectly inside the image, just begging to be a window. So that is exactly what I did with it.

I hope you've enjoyed my take on this fabulous stamp set.  If you have, show a little love by leaving a comment below, or pinning it on your boards at Pinterest.  Now you are off for the rest of the hop and some more amazing ideas from the rest of the team. Stampin' Blendabilities are Here!

Have you been waiting to get your hands on the entire collection of Stampin' Up!'s new alcohol markers?  Well, the wait is over.  You can now order all 12 color collections and the Skin Tone Assortment and other Stampin' Blendabilities' accessories.

How do they work? Here is a quick video from Stampin' Up! that shows you some tips:

Want to try them out for yourself?  I am offering two different projects at my August Stampin' Buffet that feature these markers. Today, I'm sharing with your one that was inspired by a card made by Connie Collins for the Artisan Design Team at Stampin' Up!:

Colors: Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive, Hello Honey and Coral Calypso.  Stamps: Hello There. Punches: Petite Petals and Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack.  Accessories: Coastal Cabana Blendabilities, Back to Black Designer Series Paper, Occasions Paper Piercing Pack, 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon.
Here I used the the Coastal Cabana Stampin' Blendabilities to color directly on the Back to Black Designer Series Paper just like Connie did. (Brilliant idea!)  I love how it totally changes the look of this paper. I started with the darkest color at the top of the shape and then added the lighter tones to it to give it a shaded look.

I will be showing the second card on my blog next week (but you can see it now on the class page linked above).  In the mean time, you can head on over to MY ONLINE STORE to purchase your own set of Stampin' Blendabilities!
