A couple of weeks back, I showed a project I made with the Hamburger Box die on The Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. Today I have another one for you:
This is just one of the projects being offered at my August Stampin' Buffet. It would be perfect to fill with a little treat for your child's teacher for Back to School or really, it works for so many occasions. Sign up to come to my class today!
This is also a great time to mention that starting on Friday, August 1, Stampin' Up! is offering a special on the Big Shot. If you purchase one during the month of August, you can choose from one of 5 different stamp set/framelit bundles absolutely free! And if you already own a Big Shot, you can still purchase the bundles (not offered in the current catalog) at a 15% savings. I will have more details on this offer next week.

July Paper Pumpkin Kit and Promotion
I've been a little more MIA than I'd care to admit lately. It seems to coincide with exactly when my younger son got out for the summer. (He's on year round so he went all the way until July 3 this year). He is very high maintenance (must take after someone else in the family). I also went to Stampin' Up's Convention and came back with lots of great ideas. But now I am just rambling. I really do have something important to share with you today.
It's been a couple of months since I posted about Paper Pumpkin. But July's kit is SOOOO cute! In the little orange box that arrived in my mailbox was all the parts and pieces to make six cards and six cute little gift boxes. I am saving some of the parts and pieces for my next class, but here are the samples I made:
Here's a closer look at each:
Isn't this kit fabulous? For the first time, I will be offering a Paper Pumpkin Sampler at my August Stampin' Buffet. You will be able to make a card and a box from this months kit for $3. But supplies are limited so if you want to make one or two, you will need to RSVP quickly!
Also right now, Stampin' Up! is offering a sweet deal: 50% off the first two months of kits for new subscribers. Just visit the Paper Pumpkin Website and use the promo code: HALFOFF2. This offer is good until September 10, but trust me, you will want to do it before August 10. We got a sneak peek at August and September kits at convention and they are spectacular. And if you like Halloween, then you will really not want to miss out on the August kit. And once you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, you will be able to go back and purchase previous kits that you've been missing out on all this time. What are you waiting for? Go do it!

The Stamp Crew Review: Lovely as a Tree
It's time for another blog hop with The Stamp Review Crew. I'm sure others have mentioned it, but our group was selected to make a display board for convention this year and it was so much fun working together to create this board, especially featuring stamp set that has been around for years: Lovely as a Tree. (The board also featured Flower Patch so watch for that in another upcoming hop). Both of my projects were on the board so if you were at convention and wanted to get a closer look, here is your chance. If you weren't at convention, then you get a chance to see projects from the display boards anyway. (I call that a win-win!)
First, I have to say that I don't even own Lovely as a Tree and I think I'm the only demonstrator on the planet that doesn't. It's a classic and still one of the top sellers for the company. Thankfully, this means that it was pretty easy for me to track down a set to borrow. (Thanks Erin!!) Second, I try to work smarter, not harder, so both of these projects worked triple time: display boards, convention swaps and now here on the blog hop!
For my first card, I wanted to do something a little out-of-the-box and I wanted to use it for my "Something Old, Something New" swap at convention (older stamps paired with new items). I have seen the pine tree from Lovely as a Tree used as a branch for hanging an ornament, so why not use it as a branch for a perching Halloween owl?
I hope you've enjoyed this look at Lovely as a Tree and hope you've found some new ideas and ways to use this favorite stamp set. To navigate through the rest of the hop, use the buttons below or go to The Stamp Review Crew for a complete list of hoppers.

Endless Wishes Pinspiration
Have you heard the news? The Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp is once again available to purchase. This is such a cute stamp set, perfect for any celebration. Here's a card I made with it a month or so ago, right before it sold out the first time:
I hesitated on whether or not to even call this a Pinspiration, because while it did start out as a CASE of this card by Kimberly Van Diepen, I changed it up quite a bit but I will give credit where credit is due!
Here is the entire set you get for only $13.95 and only while supplies last:
