All-You-Can-Stamp Buffet

Who doesn't love an all-you-can-eat buffet?  You can eat dessert first. Then sample a little salad. And maybe take three of the hot flaky rolls. And don't forget the carving station with the roast beef and turkey. And over there is the peel and eat shrimp and crab legs.  Yum!  Are you planning your next trip to Vegas yet?

While this class isn't exactly the same thing, you get the idea.  Come and make as many cards and projects as you can in three hours.  Maybe you want to make a wedding card, a birthday card or two, and don't forget you'll need a few thank you cards and some of those cute little treat holders for your neighbors.  What about that baby shower coming up?  It's will all be there, cut and ready for you to come stamp.  No need to preorder, I will keep cutting as long as you keep stamping.

WHEN: Saturday, August 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: My new house in Farmington (call or email for directions)

COST: $15

RSVP:  By Wednesday, August 4 to 801-557-3439 or paulastamps@gmail.com.  If you RSVP after this date, there will be an additional $2 cutting fee.

Bring a friend that is new to my classes and you both receive $2 off your class fee.  A light lunch will be served.   And did I mention the prizes?  Door prizes as well as prizes for the fastest and slowest stampers.  You will leave with at least 10 projects guaranteed. (If you don't complete that many, you can pick from my  premade cards.)

Here's a sneak peek of most of the cards and projects that will be available that day:

Many of the cards feature something from the brand new Idea Book and Catalog.  Come see the new catalog and take home your own copy for $5 or free with a $50 order.  And anyone who places an order at the class will receive a coupon for your next order.

My bin of retired products is over flowing again.  Come take advantage of discounted prices on discontinued stamps, paper, ink pads, etc.  I also have tons of premade cards and other class samples available to purchase.

So what are you waiting for?  RSVP right now while you are thinking about it!  And my best customers should be looking in their mail boxes for their special invitation with an equally special offer inside!  And don't let the few extra miles scare you off, I promise it will be worth the drive.

June Stampin' Buffet!

Bring on Summer!!!!  Now that the weather is finally cooperating, let's create some fun summer projects together!

WHERE: Red Robin in Murray, (316 East Winchester)

WHAT: Get ready for Father's Day and Summer Vacation.  Scroll down to see the pictures of the projects for this month and then let me know which ones and how many of each you would like to make.  Bring a friend along and you both can pick something from my prize basket.

RSVP: By noon on Thursday, June 10.  But let me know by Tuesday at noon if you would like to start Charm School this month and take the charm with you that day so I can get it ordered.

Place a catalog order at my class an receive $5 off your project fees for every $25 you spend (charms not included in this deal since I have another special offer I am running on those).  The Last Chance Lists are out.  Get your retiring products before they are all gone!

This month's scrapbook layout celebrates Dad!  I tried to keep it simple because everyone knows Dad's like it that way.  The quote says "For all you do, For all you are, For all you mean to me . . ."  Cost: $7.00 each

I had special requests for projects with the Tropical collection from the Summer Mini catalog.  This is a paper bag mini album that is perfect to scrapbook your family's trip to the beach or any fun summer time activities.  I left the cover blank on purpose, but you can add a title easily with the big shot.  There are 10 pages on the inside of the album and three pull outs.  Cost: $12 each

This has been one of my favorite stamp sets, Enjoy Everything, and it showed up on the retiring list.  So I wanted to create something with it and share it with you one more time.  It also features Crushed Curry, one of this year's in colors that is also retiring.  Cost: $1.50 each

This card features some colors that are retiring this month as well: Mellow Moss and Cameo Coral.  The stamp set is Watercolor Trio from the Summer Mini.  There are 2 other greetings for this card as well.  Cost: $1.50 each.

This card was another special request.  It features the Punched Posies Hostess set from the Summer Mini Catalog. I love this set.  And this colorful card was a bit out of my comfort zone at first, but I love the way it pops.  So fun and summery!  It is almost the same card that is featured in the mini catalog -- I just changed up the colors a bit.  There will also be a Happy Birthday option for this card. Cost: $1.50 each.

One of my favorite things about summer is ICE CREAM!  Yummy! This fun card features the Sweet Scoops Stamp set from the mini and a little two-step stamping. Cost: $1.50 each

Father's Day is right around the corner and what Dad wouldn't like to dream of tropical beaches on his day?  This card was inspired closely by the very talented JulieA on Stampin' Addicts.  There is also a Happy Birthday or Thank You option for this card. Cost: $1.50

If your father is more like mine, he like simple and masculine.  This card offers that. It also features retiring Designer Series Paper and corduroy buttons.   Cost: $1.50 each.
The 3D item for this month is a gift bag adorned with the very cute Build A Bear Big Shot line.  There is a gift tag for this that isn't shown.  Also, you can make a boy bear instead of a girl bear.  Cost: $2.00 each.

Charm School is in session!  If you missed out last month, it is not too late to get in on the fun.  Simply purchase a Simply Adorned Charm from me and you can make 2-3 charms for free at the rest of my 2010 buffets!  These are designed to fit the 1x1 1/4 inch charms.  Cost for the charm is $22 (includes shipping and tax) or include a 24" chain for $35 (includes shipping and tax).   I had a special request for the umbrella drink charm and a skull charm. (Yes, I know it isn't Halloween, but this paper is retiring and I had to use it.)

Hope to see you there!

I will have my retired stamp bin with me again too.  I've even added a few sets that I found when I was cleaning out my stamp room.  And I will have premade cards to purchase too.

PROJECTS:
This month's scrapbook layout will help you record those special moments in your life.  The quote on the page says "Life is a matter of moments".  The colors are So Saffron, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip (they look a little off in the picture, it really is yellow).  You will have extra butterflies to take home with you to add to your page after you add your pictures.  Cost: $7.00 each

Say Hello to the fun little Photo Cube. It's bright and cheery and features the Hello Again stamp set.  Add your pictures to each side and it would make a great accent to your desk or as a gift for Mother's Day or any occasion.  Colors are Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo. Cost: $4:00 each

Mother's Day is almost here!  Tell your mom how wonderful you think she is with this Flower Easel Card.  Features the felt fusion flowers from the main catalog.  Cost: $1.50 each

The Razzleberry Greeting Card has a Mother's Day greeting poking through the window.  But the greeting can also be changed to Thank You or to Happy Birthday.  The flowers are colored with markers and then a layer of Crystal Effects is applied to the top for a glassy look.  Cost: $1.50 each
The Daisy Burst Card features one of my favorite Big Shot dies.  The greeting on this one can be changed to Thank You, Happy Birthday, or Happy Mother's Day. Cost: $1.50 each

I call this my Toile Card because to me, the new Elements of Style stamp set reminds me of Toile Fabric.  Perfect for a Wedding or any time you need an elegant looking card. Cost: $1.50 each

This card features Tropical colors and lots of texture to really make it pop.  It is much easier than it looks (I promise.)  Alternate greetings will be available for this one too.  Cost: $1.50 each

May also brings Graduations.  This simple card will wish your grad well as they enter the next phase of life.  Cost: $1.50 each

Most of you saw these Flower Pins at my last class. They make a fun addition to your handbag, jacket or even your hair.  They are made from fabric and are cut out using the Big Shot and the Fancy Fold Flower die. They aren't hard, but they are a little time consuming so take that into consideration when signing up for them.  Let me know if you would like the classic one or the bright whimsical one.  Cost: $5.00 each

Welcome to Charm School!  Purchase a 1 x 1-1/4" Simply Adored charm from me, and for the rest of 2010 you can make 2-3 inserts at each of my buffets free.  These are this months charms.  They are simple to make, but will really add to your wardrobe.  The first one is a monogram so you can personalize it for yourself or for a gift.  Order your charm by noon on Tuesday, April 27 to take it home with you that day.  Cost for just the charm is $22 (includes shipping and tax.)  Add the 24" chain for a total of $35 (includes shipping and tax).  This will be an on going offer for the next few months, but the sooner you sign up, the more inserts you can make.  You can also order your charm that day (not included in the $5 off special since I am offering this special instead), but let me know before hand so I can have enough inserts prepped.

March Stampin' Buffet

Spring is just around the corner and I can hardly wait.  Several of this month's projects invoke the spirit of Spring and maybe if we create enough of them, Spring will magically appear. (We can hope right?)

WHEN: Saturday, March 6, 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Red Robin Restaurant in Murray, (316 East Winchester Street)

WHAT: Fun, Friends and Stamping!  Check out the projects below and RSVP back to me which ones and how many of each you would like to make.

RSVP by Thursday, March 4 so I can have enough projects cut and ready to make that day.

Bring a friend new to my stamping classes and you both will get a chocolate treat.

Also, if you place an order at the Buffet, you will receive a $5 project fee credit for every $25 you spend.  And Sale-A-Bration is wrapping up this month so take advantage of the free product while you still can!

I will also have my retired stamp bin with me.  The stamps are marked about 50% off retail and they are buy three get one free.  Help me get these out of my garage before I move!

PROJECTS (click on any of the pictures to get a closer look):

This month's 12"x12" scrapbook page features fun flowers and a reminder to laugh and smile.  I wish I could take credit for this page but it is a complete CASE of a swap I saw at the Leadership Conference I went to in January.  So if anyone wants to tell me who the original creator is, I'd be happy to give her credit.   Cost: $7 each

Instead of banner this month, I am offering a mini chipboard coaster album.  The album is approximately 3-7/8" x 5-3/8" and features the Write Stuff Specialty Designer Series and the Smarty Pants Stamp Set. Paper elements may vary slightly in color. We will bind the album right there at the class.  Cost: $8 each
I have been hoarding a bunch of these lunch tins in my garage for too long.  And now that we are moving, I'd like to share them with you.  I will have several paper choices available to choose from that day.  If you have a special request for paper, please let me know ASAP and I will let you know if I have it. Cost: $10 each.

I offered these cute Easter Baskets last year, but there are so many new people and they are just so cute so I am offering them again.  They are made using a Big Shot die.  Fill the with a little treat and they are perfect for a teacher, neighbor, coworker or other friend.  Designer Series Paper may vary but will be from the Tea Party pack.  Cost: $2.50 each

I received this card in a swap from my upline group.  I believe it was made by Becki Bradford.  I am offering it this month after some special requests.  Designer Series Paper may vary but will be from the Sweet Pea Pack. Cost: $1.50 each

I love this new stamp set and matching wheel from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  And this picture does not do this card justice either, sorry.  Perfect as a thank you card for a friend or even a just-because card. Cost: $1.50 each

I really did try not to use Old Olive this month, but it is my favorite color and I just can't resist.  Maybe next month?  This card has a "Thinking of You" option too and would make a good sympathy card. Cost: $1.50 each

You can never have enough birthday cards, right?  This one features some new stamps and the In Colors for a bright and cheery look. Cost: $1.50 each

This card really invokes Spring.  It features to the Two-Step stamping technique.  I chose "Happy Easter" for my greeting, but there are several others to choose from as well including congratulations.  Cost: $1.50 each

You can click on the picture to see a close up on any of them.
See this really sweet little treat purse?  This is not a project you can make at my buffet, but if you bring a new guest with you to the buffet, or you are a newbie yourself, you can take one of these beauties home with you just for RSVPing and coming.  Your guest will get to take one home too. See why you will want to bring someone with you to share the fun?

Are you a scrapbooker?  Do you want to be one?  This layout is all precut and easy to punch, Big Shot, stamp and assemble.  Perfect to scrapbook the love or loves of your life.   Cost: $7 each

This accordian-folded LOVE banner will remind those around you how you feel about them this Valentine season.  Or leave the letters off and put pictures of your loved ones on it for a fun little photo display.  It will all be precut and Big Shotted (is that a word?) for easy assembly. Cost: $5 each.

Fill these cute little milk cartons with whatever you'd like for a special Valentine's treat. Perfect for your child's teacher, co-workers, best friends, neighbors, your children, or maybe your visiting teaching sisters. Cost: $1.50 each (comes empty)
Maybe one milk carton isn't enough for your special someone?  How about four in an adorable little holder.   Thanks to Rachel Norton for sharing the pattern on her blog.  Cost: $7.50 for four milk cartons and the holder.
This card features the heart sweet treat cups and the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set.  And when you pull the "sweet treats" tab, the candy comes out with out destroying the card!  Thanks to Cindy E for inspiring the card and providing a tutorial on the trap door.  Cost: $2.00 each (does not include an envelope since they don't fit.)

This card is designed to be a bit less girly.  Maybe for the man in your life on that special day?  Or for anyone really.  Thanks to Debbie Naylor for the inspiration for this card. Cost: $1.50
The last Valentine's card was inspired by one I saw on Stampin' Connections by my upline Cindy Petersen.  It features chipboard cut with the Big Shot (if you are going to be mailing it, I recommend skipping the chipboard and just using dimensionals.)  Cost: $2.00 with the chipboard, $1.50 without.

On to the Birthday card.  This card was also inspired by a swap I received from Cindy Petersen.  Lots of Big Shot going on with this one too.  I know you will love the Sweet Pea Paper as much as I do. Cost: $1.50 each
This is card features some of my favorite things from the Occasions Mini catalog: the new flower punch and the Dot, Dot, Dot stamp.  It has kind of a fun technique to it too that I can't wait to show you. Cost: $1.50 each
This baby card will bring a smile to any new mom's face.  It also features two stamp sets from the new mini: Fox and Friends and Bundle of Joy. So cute! Cost: $1.50 each
This started out as a wedding card, but it could be used for an anniversary, birthday or any occasion where "Best Wishes" are in order.  You can't tell from the picture, but it is spritzed with shimmer mist to give it a little sparkle.  Cost: $1.50 each
This cute box and four matching note cards make a wonderful little gift.  It is very easy to assemble and features my favorite Rich Razzleberry and Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper. Cost: $6 each
I can't wait to see you there!

January Scrapbook & Card Night - BIRTHDAYS!

It's been a few months since we've met and I am excited to show you all kinds of new products Stampin' Up is offering right now.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Red Robin in Murray (just south east of Fashion Place Mall)
COST: $7 for each scrapbook layout and $1.50 for each card.  Take $5 off your project fee with a $25 purchase and take $10 off with a $50 purchase.
RSVP: By noon on Monday January 25 and let me know how many of each project you would like to make so I can have enough of everything cut and ready.

Bring a friend.  The more the merrier! We will have door prizes that night as well!

I had a request for Birthday projects.  Everyone has a birthday (or if you've stopped celebrating them yourself, than there is always your best friend's, husband's, child's, etc) and this 12x12 layout gives you the opportunity to preserve the occasion.

Stamps: Party Hearty (IB&C); Colors: Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. Designer Series Paper: Sweet Pea (Occasions Mini); Accessories: Scallop Trim Border (Sale-A-Bration); Cord Buttons, Big Shot Pennant Die.

Have a child or a Build-A-Bear fan in your life.  You can choose to make either a boy card or a girl card with this fun set.  You will have the option of coloring the bear with markers or with watercolor crayons.  I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but the bears have a Shimmer Mist technique on them too -- makes it all sparkly and pretty!

Stamps: Beary Best Friends (Occasions Mini); Girl Colors:  Brocade Blue and Pretty in Pink; Boy Colors: Brocade Blue and Pumpkin Pie.  Designer Series Paper: Pawsitively Prints (Occasions Mini); Accessories: Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Brads, Shimmer Paint; Water Color Crayons, Aqua Painter.

And because I know not everyone are scrapbookers, I am throwing in an extra card at my scrapbook nights this year.  This one actually inspired the colors for the scrapbook page above.

Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes (IB&C), Whimsical Words (Sale-A-Bration); Colors: Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip; Designer Series Paper: Sweet Pea (Occasions Mini); Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon, markers.

The beginning of the year is a great time to join the hostess club we run on Scrapbook nights too.  It's a great way to build your stash and have the opportunity to get hostess benefits.  Please let me know if you would like more details.

Also, Sale-A-Bration is happening now.  For every $50 you spend, you can pick a free item out of the Sale-A-Bration brochure!  There six exclusive Sale-A-Bration items, or you can pick from a list of regular catalog stamp sets valued $15.95 or less.  Free stamps.  What is better than that?

January Technique Class/Hostess Club - Emboss Resist

Not sure what happened to November and December, but here it is January and with just days to spare, I finally have a post up that showcases the projects for my technique class this month.  Whew!

WHAT: Technique Class/Hostess Club
WHEN: Wednesday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. (notice this is a change in date from a previous announcement)
WHERE: My House (call for directions if you don't know where I live)
COST: $6 or free with a $25 purchase
RSVP: By noon on January 19

The technique is emboss resist, which is a pretty basic technique so I tried to jazz it up a bit with the spritzer tool on this card:

Stamp Sets: Extreme Surfing (Sale-A-Bration set), Celebrate Everything; Ink: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Bermuda Bay; Paper: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy; Accessories: Embossing Powder, Spritzer, Markers, Brads

And then, just because, I have this little box to offer too. I saw a box like this at the Stampin' Up Leadership Conference I just returned from and just knew I needed to offer it at a class.  It's not really emboss resist, but it is embossing, and it does have a fun technique with shimmer paint I would love to show you too.

Stamp Sets: Very Vintage Wheel (Occasions Mini), Vintage Tags (Sale-A-Bration); Inks: Basic Black; Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla; Accessories: Striped Grosgrain, Oval Punch, Embossing Powder, Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, Two-Tags Big Shot die

And at the beginning of the year, it's a good time to join the hostess club portion of technique night too.  It is a great way to build up your supplies and have a chance to earn hostess benefits.  Please let me know if you would like more information.

Don't forget, it is also Sale-A-Bration right now - Stampin' Up's! biggest promotion of the year.  For every $50 you spend, you can pick something from the Sale-A-Bration brochure absolutely free. And the brochure not only has exclusive items it, but for the first time, it also offers regular catalog sets you can get free.
